Everyone should have the chance to explore their creativity, no matter what age!  My goal is to provide you with the space and materials, guide you through the creative process, and send you home with a beautiful piece of artwork you can be proud of.

Beautiful Bowls!  Choose a pre-made bowl to decorate with an array of colorful glazes!  Have fun with pouring, splashing, sponging and brushing colors over the surface of the bowl.  Your bowl will be fired in my kiln and ready to take home in a few days!  Our pottery is food-safe, dishwasher safe and very durable.  Enjoy your creation for years to come!

        

 Jewelry Dish

Create your own unique jewelry dish for rings, bracelets, and other trinkets! Work with wet clay, make your form from scratch with teacher guidance, stamp a quote around the edge and create colorful designs.  In a few days, your dish will be fired in the kiln and ready to take home!  This class is a great “mommy & me” opportunity, for kids 8 & older.

Leaf Dish

Using fallen leaves and fresh clay, we will create a small dish with a leaf imprint, great for use as a soapdish, spoon rest, dessert plate etc!  These are stunning when glazed.  This is a two-part class: one to make the dish, one to glaze it.  By the beginning of November, you’ll have a hand made, gorgeous fall-themed dish to display in your home!

Other classes (dates TBA)

Design a Tile:  create an original design on a 6″x6″ tile using paints and glaze.  These beautiful ceramic tiles make great trivets, or you can display them on a plate stand.  A great project for a beginner, we have many stencils you can use–and more advanced (or adventurous!) artists can free-hand their designs on the tile!  Pick up your finished tile one week after the class runs.

  

Glaze a Mug: Everyone has a favorite mug, whether it fits your hand just right, or it holds just the right amount of coffee or tea!  Choose from dozens of hand-made porcelain and stoneware mugs and apply your own design of glazes.  Learn how the glazes interact with each other to create beautiful patterns, or keep it simple and pick your favorite solid colors.  Pick up your mug one week after glazing it…gift it to a loved one, or enjoy it yourself!
